I Left My Heart In Lake Mead

Sorry I have missed a couple of days, it was a bit busy, but now that I have a bit of time, I am happy to share some things with you...

So here we go... Yesterday Evgeny and I went for his friend's birthday. We had to walk quite a distance and I wore heels, so at some point I took my shoes off and guess what I discovered when I got home?.. I couldn't even imagine that my feet could ever be so dirty!

Today we went to ride a boat on the lake! It was great but I have lost the first gift I ever got from my Evgeny! It was a beautiful, tiny heart pendent with little diamonds that I wore ever since for four years and today it drowned in that lake! I was upset, but my Evgeny is going to get me a new one. Other then that it was a wonderful day! The water was amazingly warm and refreshing considering it was 105'F outside!
My captain Evgeny! <3
Then we dined at this interesting Elephant restaurant...

After that I was finally able to get to visit my mom after she came back from Ukraine. I prepared her and Donny a little gift (remember I told you I was making something? Well here it is!). This is what it looks like...

It's two pillows one for mom and one for Donny. There is actually a meaning to it.. Donny calls my mom Bug (stands for Beautiful Ukrainian Girl - isn't that cool?) and mom calls Donny Bird because he has long legs and has something birdy about him... So I made them these two funny guys to lay on their bed...

And mom brought me many awesome gifts from Ukraine including books, yummy Ukrainian tea (you can tell we are into teas!), candy, and some family antiques (I love that stuff!).

Tomorrow is another day off for me! I am going to pick up my soap supplies! So many things to do! Hope you had a great weekend!

  1. Lol! I couldn't stop laughing at the picture of your foot because that is exactly how my feet looked like the other day! I was wearing flip flops though. Those are awesome pictures! :)
