Since I am the photographer of my own honeymoon, I share these photos with you first.
So, as you remember, we went to Santa Catalina Island. It was amazingly romantic and beautiful! If you have never been there - go!
That' s what we did - packed and went the second day after our wedding...
We took a boat from Long Beach to Avalon City. It was quite a ride! And oh it was amazing to see the first glimpse of a beautiful island! I also snapped a couple of shots of the main land on the way...
Avalon greeted us with many little houses that seem to grow right out of the mountains...
Our room was amazing with ocean view from our private balcony, which we enjoyed evening teas on...
We ate yummy food all while looking at the waves...
We saw many native animals there (including wales that I didn't get to take pictures of...)
We enjoyed many beautiful views...
And even went under water in a little submarine, so I was able to take some awsome pictures of underwater life...
We took many tours on the land as well as in the water, witnesed flying fish migration, fed fish and birds, and the most important we enjoyed each other as husbant and wife should...
(There is a story behind us wearing our wrings on different hands. I am following the American way and wear it on the left, and my husbant (I love saying this!!!) follows the European way and wears it on the right...)
Wow - o - wow Anastasia! Your pictures are beautiful and congrats again! I'm very happy for you dear. I'm sure that you and your husband are enjoying this time of your life right now!
ReplyDeletePS. I'm intrigued? What is the story behind Europeans wearing their rings on the right hand?
