How amazing and inspiring it was to see my dad play this amazing song in church today and hundreds of people worship proclaiming that HE loves us!

Being Happy Today

What makes me happy is...

Seeing my dad playing in our church.

Hearing a good inspiring message in church.

Baking more bread.


Coming home from work and having a good omelet straight from the skillet.


Getting my packages on mail.

Learning how to do new crafty things, in today's case it is spinning wool - so much fun!


Sitting down for the evening with a chocolate bar, knitting (my progress is about 4" now!), and a good animal documentary.

Being happy is so easy right now.

To Be Inspired By Simple

I was quite busy with getting my projects done. As a result here is a lovely bear - the first one made by my own pattern. I am a bit proud! :) Haven't come up with the name yet.



I wish I could show you some pictures of nature, but non have been taken, it is still quite hot and I wasn't able to find time during the day to plan a trip to the mountain. I am anticipating a family trip for the Thanks Giving holiday.

I did have time, however, to learn how to knit, or at least begin to learn, so I started on my scarf. It is not exactly a beginner piece - it is like knitting a spider web with twigs - very fine yarn and big needles, but I am having fun and can't wait to start spinning yarn!


Just thought I would give an update on the way my married life goes. I have been married for almost two month now - and I got to say, being married to my husband is the best thing that ever happened to me! I am so loved, happy, inspired, confident, full of plans for future!

Eat Vegies!

Vegerables are amazing - they are God's little marvels. So today, while making soup, I could not resist taking some pictures! :)

Scones + Milk = Yumm

There is nothing more soothing then freshly bought scones + a glass of milk. It is especially needed after a long day of work some times... Blueberry scones are one of my favorite kind.




Funny, but this is about all I can tell you for now, my readers, because the rest is all about wedding preparations. There are so many things to do! We have to quickly decide on a restaurant so that we can sand out invitations... It is crazy, but, oh my God, it is exciting! I am going to be a wife for goodness sake! I am keeping most of my excitement for the actual day! It is going to be the best day ever! AND I have THE BEST husband! He is the sweetest, most understanding, most loving! I mean, if you feel like you really want to be jealous right now (ha ha), you have every reason to be jealous because I got the best man! :)))

The Day I Have Been Waiting For!

Wonderful things happened today! Some things that I have been patiently (well, sometimes maybe not so patiently) waiting for years to happen! Today is the day that finally came. I passed my citizenship appointment and the date for my inauguration is August 13th (yep, Friday the 13th I will become one of you people! :) )AND we got our wedding date - August 22nd! In 3 weeks! We better get moving, you think, well we are loving but humble people and are not planning to have a big wedding, in fact we are keeping it all for ourselves. So we are almost ready!

When I got home, I felt tiered, so I turned on my favorite Yann Tiersen through my cute penguin speakers hooked up to my ipod, and made some yummy blueberry cake using this deliciously illustrated recipe - check out the website, it is the best cooking place ever - I love her blog, love her photos, love her son, and it's just an amazing source of culinary inspiration!

It was a joyful activity, I mean listen to this music...


...now imagine the sun shinig through your windows, a nice apron and the smell of vanilla, bluebrries, butter, orange rind... eh, I love theraputical cooking!

I have been reading my fellow bloggers' impressions from attending the Renegade Craft Fair and it made me want to make something with my hands worth buying even more then before. I realize that mainly it is all in the idea. I mean look at these shoes.! They sell them in Europe for $250! They are about $10 to make. A GREAT idea though! I want a pair!



So I keep brainstorming and thinking weather I can some day be a part of this very appealing to me group of successful bloggers/Etsy vendors/just plain interesting people... Well, I got ways to go, but I got time too, the earlier you strat the better you get, right?

50th Post Is About The Sky

It is my 50th post! Yey! Today silly boys took their toys and went to the desert to shoot some botles, I shot some sky while they were at it. Here is the result. I was honored to see the most beautiful sun set!

Do You Need Recognition?..

I was thinking... Don't we all need at least some kind of recognition? I mean, I know I do, and I am the kind of person that doesn't go by what people say or think about what I do and who I am. Yet I just can't help it, but wonder if sometimes all of us need encouragement in the form of praise, adoration, marvel, or at least simple attention. Why is that? How come no matter what path we chose to follow, it is always helpful to walk with someone else? In that case it is great to have God, the One Who is always with us. How do atheists survive in this cruel world?.. Then it is also great to have some kind of support here, in a flesh form to hug, love, impress and care for...

Anyways, today I got my crochet hook kit on mail! It has every hook from 00 to 12 and from D to K! I am so excited!


I want to learn how to crochet baby clothes, because I want some day to have my babies to have nice clothes made by me, but then I think, maybe it is too weird, too early, I mean, we are thinking about kids, but I don't suppose it is going to be this year, or probably not in a couple of years... So what should I do? Does anyone knows a good pattern source for something adorable for a newborn?

I had some time today and almost finished my flower crochet for my jewelery chest that I was talking about a couple of posts ago.


I bought a wooden box, and decided to cover it in fabric and put some crochet motives on it. It should look great!


It is 10:40pm and my Evgeny is still not home from work! I am so upset!

Soap Charity, Etsy Store, And Giveaway!

I was kinda sick for the past week and did not have strength to do barely anything.

Yesterday my cold reached its peak when I came from work. I collapsed. But my Evgeny made me lay under a hot blanket for the rest of the day and drink hot tea with honey, but no cookies - for as he himself told me this whole thing was strictly medical and was not suppose to be enjoyable. :)

Well, I got to say, it helped. Along with massage and steam room that my mom and I enjoyed in the morning. I feel capable of doing something, so I finally finished the soap project that I have been talking about for so long. It literally took me all day, but I am happy to finally get somewhere with it. So let me tell you what it is. It's an Etsy shop with all kinds of Body Indulgences and Treats - soaps, body oils, bath salts, bath herbs and there will be more! Now the cool thing about this is that 100% (!) of ALL PROFITS go to CHARITY ORGANIZATIONS! Yep! I thought it was a great way to make someone happy AND collect some funds for certain charities I wish I could donate to.

So go check it out please! I even made it into someones treasury already! Check it out!

I am excited, you can tell, but here is the thing, this is not for me, it's for something better, if you could help me promote my shop a bit, I could raise some money and maybe together we could change someones life!

Giraffe snd Some Wedding Preparations...

I am such a pain in the butt sometimes. Thanks God for such a patient Evgeny of mine! I am freaking out about the whole wedding thing, but he is so nice about it and we are going to have a great time! I am soon to get excited! We are even going to have our honeymoon, possibly in San Francisco! Oh this is too good!

Mommy is coming tomorrow night, I can't wait!

My Resoraction

WE DID IT! WE FIGURED IT OUT! Oh I am SO HAPPY! Exhausted from all the fear that this whole thing will never happen, but SO HAPPY! Oh my future husband is just the best person in the world! I have a tendency to mess things up with my silly heart pouring on everything I do, but he is so wise! My hero! Oh I'm so happy! God is AMAZING! He is just so great! Always trust in Him and you will rejoice like I did!!!
So I wanted to share this one thing with you. If you ever think you shouldn't do something good, because you are scared, you should do it anyways. Today I was going through a drive through on my way from work to grab a burger. Prior to this I promised myself that the next time I will be in a drive through, I would pay for the person behind me. So this was my chance, but I was afraid, because you don't just pay and drive off, you have to wait for your food and the person that you paid for just stands right behind you and this is awkward. But I pulled it together and did it anyways. So approximately $6 later three people were in a better mood - me of course, the person I paid for (I mean there is no way you would be upset about a free meal), and the cashier (I bet he was christian and knew exactly what I was doing...). It is so happy to do good things, it's not even fare!
Ok, I'm back! I am all the way happy again... crazy, but I am not going to complain! I am off to watch Toy Story with the LOVE OF MY LIFE!
